Max Van Hosen is a 20 year old writer and illustrator from Fayetteville, Arkansas. He is currently a junior at New York University studying Writing for Film & TV with minors in Studio Art and the Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technologies.
Besides writing and drawing, his passions span across music, nature, cars, comedy, and creating home videos. If he is not skating, biking, or playing pickup soccer, you may discover him                re-watching Bob's Burgers or lying to himself that he could play the drums.
"In his warm, captivating illustrations, Max Van Hosen engages with themes of memory, object permanence and serenity. Toeing the line between still life and portrait, despite a clear emphasis on man-made objects and what they represent—particularly in contrast to nature—the beauty in Van Hosen’s drawings lies in their receptiveness to a multitude of interpretations and possible narratives." - Lorena Camps, "The Universal Language of Storytelling", WSN
